Borrowby Avenue

Northallerton

Daniel Powell Studio were commissioned to transform a two-bedroom dormer bungalow into a four-bedroom, multi-generational home. The brief called for a layout that offered a clear sense of separation between living areas to suit the needs of the client.

To meet this, we have designed a single-storey side extension housing a generous open-plan kitchen/living area and a utility room. This enabled the reconfiguration of the ground floor to include a separate dining room, a snug, and an additional bedroom.

Rear dormer windows and the proposed construction of a front gable have increased the useable space on the first floor, therefore allowing space for three bedrooms, with each benefitting from its own en-suite bathroom.

Planning permission granted, building regulations drawings to be created!
